Summer Fun 2008 included wedding receptions at the Bob Hope Hotel in Fairborn, NCR Country Club in Kettering, a beautiful farm in Clearcreek Township, The old Montgomery Court House in Downtown Dayton and that’s just a few. Karaoke/Dance Summer Slams at the K&W Drive In in the histroic district of Springboro, company picnics, birthday parties, anniversaries corporate events and more. It was Friday thru Sunday fun for all our professional hosts for one of the best summers ever. Honeymoons by our brides and grooms this summer were to: London, England; Ireland, Greece, Hawaii, Jamaica, Argentina, the Bahamas, Cabo San Lucas, New York City, Chicago, Las Vegas, San Francisco and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Wish I could have tagged along.
Melissa Hall and Eric DeSantis were wed on Saturday, June 28, 2008 with a reception following at the Beauverre Riordan Stained Glass Gallery in downtown Middletown. Over 200 guests enjoyed a delightful evening of dancing, dining, perusing beautiful stained glass works of art and enjoying the formalities of the night. Mysi finally stopped me at 12:15 A.M. and said these people will stay here all night we must hasten to end the celebration our time at the gallery has expired. The last song was played and the celebration ended. Eric and Mysi are honeymooning in London, England and will make their home in Chicago when they return. It was a wonderful event that everyone truly enjoyed. Special mention and thanks to Debbie Hall (mother of the bride) for an excellent job in orchestrating the evening. On Saturday, June 21, 2008 Ryan Armstrong and Molly Michael were wed in Urbana, Ohio. A reception followed at the bride’s parents estate in Urbana. The beautiful lake front setting weathered a late afternoon storm. The huge tent held fast till the sun slowly reappeared in the western sky. It warmly welcomed over 300 guests, a large bridal party and arriving via water craft the bride and groom to the Beach Boys rendition of “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” if we were married as they stepped onto the dock. A wonderful repast followed with formalities, dancing and great entertainment. Their professional music host was Don Wright. The celebration lasted till half past midnight. Ryan and Molly are honeymooning in Jamaica and will make their home in Bexley, Ohio. We are booking up quick for 2009. We still have a few good dates left in 2008, September 27, but October is filled to capacity,a few openings are still available in November and December. Availability for Friday and Sunday weddings is still wide open. Some years we book 20 to 30 Friday and Sunday weddings. Rates are also less on Friday and Sunday. We have 11 dates booked out already for 2009. Book now to not be disappointed.
